Bacon Brussels

There is no better combination than bacon and brussels sprouts!  I mean it is my favorite vegetable…bacon that is!  But seriously when you add the salty crunch of chopped bacon to the roasted soft texture of the sprouts, magic happens!  It also super easy to make.

Ingredients:

  1. brussels sprouts, I cooked about 1lb
  2. bacon – I used about 6 slices
  3. pepper

Directions

  1. cut the stem off of each sprout and split in half length-wise
  2. chop bacon and fry in pan unti cooked, not until crispy because it will cook in oven
  3. lay sprouts on baking sheet or roasting pan and dump bacon and grease over sprouts
  4. pepper to taste
  5. bake at 400° for about 20-25 mins
  6. Enjoy!
