Raspberry Chipotle Wings

Now that I have your attention with the title, these Raspberry Chipotle Coffee Honey Wings are amazing.  I need a nickname for them…RCCH Wings?  Spicy Caffeine? Hot and Hyper?  Anywho, I shouldn’t have to tell you how good this combination of flavors are, they are UNBELIEVABLE.  Sweet, Spicy, Savory, it hits all of the flavor notes.


  1. 2 LBS. Chicken Wings ( I used the whole wings, with the skin on)
  2. 6 oz fresh raspberries
  3. 1/4 Cup brewed coffee
  4. 2 chipotle peppers with some of the adobo sauce from the can
  5. 4 Tbsp Honey
  6. salt and pepper to taste


  1. preheat oven to 400ºF
  2. season wings with salt and pepper and cook until crispy about 25-30 minutes, flipping once halfway through
  3. in a blender or processor mix together coffee, raspberries, honey, chipotle peppers, salt and pepper and blend until smooth.  Add some more coffee if it is too thick
  4. when wings are crispy brush one side with sauce mixture and place back in oven for another 5 minutes
  5. flip wings and brush other side with mixture and bake another 5 minutes
  6. garnish with some of the leftover sauce

I like my wings extra crispy, no one likes a soggy wingy. Johnny want wingy.  These are a good mixture of flavors, you can strain the mixture if you don’t want the seeds in the sauce but I like the added texture it gives to the wings when cooked.  Wow the crowds with these this weekend!

      Meg, I would add a touch more honey to get them really sticky…thats what she said
